This psychobilly girl is something I absolutely adore. I was really inspired a while ago to draw a psycho and I was to design some headers for an online zine for a community I am part of, one of the sections of a psychobilly section so I thought it was the perfect opportunity. I found a picture of someone playing a stand up on a royalty free image site, and used it as reference because I wanted the hand to look fairly natural. While there are parts of the drawing that aren't amazing I feel it's a pretty successful piece. I feel playing off some standard imagery I pulled off what I was going for. I tried to tie her together with her stand up as best to really show as there was an emotional attatchment towards it, and the music. By placing the RIP on the head if the bass and her DEAD tattoo I felt I had allowed it to flow and seem more attatched together. Plus I am in Love with her hair.
